Boeing is pleading guilty to a fraud that killed over 300 people. Their punishment is fines. At least one person made a decision to perpetuate this fraud, so why is nobody going to jail? If corporations have the same rights as people, they should face the same criminal liabilities as well.

Seriously. I know radical leftists and they stay out of the voting discussion completely -- sSome do vote for harm reduction given the American system they and their friends have to survive in, but they do not really discuss it publicly.

I love writing in and of itself, and if I didn't stop to celebrate goals like word count I would almost certainly have stopped writing in my 20s out of despair that I wasn't getting anywhere -- but word count isn't the only way I mark goals or I'd lose my composure at other steps for other reasons.

In fitness, I'm 42 and I feel more flexible and have better energy, pain tolerance, and awareness of my body than I did at 21. In food, I just threw together some chicken breasts and spices with a quick web search to double-check my memory about timing and full confidence it's going to be tasty.

[CW: food, exercise] So when I got my book published, I was given the *incredible* advice to find another hobby to use as a gauge of personal progress and self-worth. I'm happy to say I found two and I'm doing pretty well at both.

I have lines from this show burble up into my conscious thoughts periodically. Mostly stuff about Toxie not understanding his love interest's music is bad, and the main villain whose name I have lost shouting "RELEASE POLLUTO!"

Unburnination 7/8: I’m good, but good in that slightly fragile way that sometimes happens to folks with anxiety and PTSD and my other mental garnishes, where you feel like something must be wrong because nothing seems to be wrong. These things happen and awareness is the key; onward and upward.
