I like cats but I also like very tiny beautiful things. :) I love how tiny and delicate so many of the forest flowers are. Like they got put there by some kind of faerie.

Gorgeous. Only recently learnt that the ring at the centre of forget-me-nots is initially bright yellow to attract pollinators. This then fades to cream once pollinated, signalling to bees that there is no more nectar. How clever is that??

Since the fourth photo is the only one to which you didn’t apply a name in the alt text, I thought you might be interested to know they are bluets (always plural, for some reason), aka Quaker Ladies. Houstonia species, probably Houstonia coerulea

Forget-me-nots have a vibrant center that fades to white when the flower is pollinated, so insects know there's no need to visit it since there's no nectar.
