Watching the British election returns I feel compelled to point out that the 650 person House of Commons represents 67 million people and the 435 person House of Representatives in the United States represents 333 million.
Replace the Permanent Apportionment Act of 1929. We deserve representation.

I think it was Biden people partially to get it out of the way. Also there is a bunch of evidence that voters are making up their minds now.. Certainly that was the theory of Obama reelection who started their ads in May considered early at the time.

This is Stephen Miller's law firm. They're also currently repping a TV reporter suing CBS-LA for being anti-white, which as a former CBS-LA reporter I think is absolutely laughable. But they're trying to create still more legal precedent for a racist takeover, it's clear

But the media, including BBC, is so obsessed with right-wing parties/politicians that they miss actual stories and interesting trends. I think it's because covering the fear of corporate power and loss of opportunity and how that gets wrapped up in racism would make their rich owners mad

The BBC was in one constituency where the party in power, Conservatives lost 22% from the last election - that happens when voters are pissed. Labor stayed the same, Reform Party captured only 15% of that loss Lib Dems and Greens captured 7%. That is the more surprising part. #UKElections2024

It's not actually interesting that English conservative voters upset at their party went for a more right-wing hate party. It's more interesting that it hasn't happened that much. Unlike France or the US whose similar parties have been captured by racist extremes #UKElections2024

It is sad to see BBC is like US Coverage that, obsesses about the personalities and the thoughts of the most right-wing people and never mentions, interviews, or cares about the policies of leftists or their electoral successes. #UKElections2024

Watching the BBC for UK Election Results and it's telling that ALL the coverage is talking to Conservatives and talking about "success" of Reform Party. Even though they are only slated to have basically no impact with 13 seats. Meanwhile Lib Dems upped their seats as did Greens.

Not so easy building a multiracial democracy. Good thing Germany doesn't have a horrific recent history that this story would make even more alarming.

March 23 1933, the Enabling Act becomes law in Germany, giving the chief executive power enforce his own laws without checks and balances. The passing of the Act marked the formal transition from democratic republic to totalitarian dictatorship. 6 months later, it was a 1 party state.

Kansas City having VAR so high you can't have a real line. A ref who has no business doing international games are all so CONCAF y you would figure that's who was in charge. But all of this is besides the point Gregg Berhalter teams don't score goals and lose games #USMNT

very much reflective of the lack of any real survival instinct among journalists that they think the big story today is whether biden will step down

“What makes you so confident you should be president?” is an actual question a reporter shouted at the incumbent who just warned about a reckless court decision that imperils democracy

The Supreme Court has enshrined the very essence of their supremacist idea captured by Wilhoit's Law “Conservatism consists of exactly one proposition: There must be in-groups whom the law protects but does not bind, alongside out-groups whom the law binds but does not protect.”

This Originalist™ court has effectively immunized both the president and all federal law enforcement officers from any meaningful accountability.
Because if there are two things the Founders cherished, it's the power of a king-like executive and armed agents of the government to act with impunity.
