I've never be a political revolutionary. American democracy is the most ossified system in the democratic world. Electoral College? Please. 435 member "Peoples" house? Prop 13. Other than engaging in revolutionary activity where is the space for different points of view in government in the U.S.

Yes AND the critical part is that good progressive people who are Democrats and in power must take the lead on electoral reform which creates the space for viable alternatives to emerge. With our current zero-sum game electoral system the only job is to say "they are bad." Top two primaries? Nope.

Unpopular fact: Most people who claim to want a viable 3rd party aren’t willing to put in any of the work at the local level to actually build a viable 3rd party from the grassroots up. Voting for a random presidential candidate once every four years isn’t going to do anything.

Jan 2020 I was Fit as F', and planning on hitting some big goals mid-2020. None of that happened. I ran an Independence Day 5k this morning...I can't go back, but I at least want to start trying again.
