If a post makes you feel instantly outraged, then pause a second and see if there's anything actually factual about it or if it's just a loudmouth opinion. You don't have to let yourself be manipulated.

It’s so odd to pay thousands for the privilege of being herded and somewhat ignored. We pay extra each time so that I don’t have to wait 6-9 months, unable to leave the UK, like many spouses do. That money on top of the NHS fee, the visa cost, the solicitor bills. It’s over 8k

Out of my visa appointment. It’s never the same. Never familiar. This time, after they took my photo and fingerprints, I watched as my docs were scanned, having to point out when something additional was needed. I can’t look at the scans but I have to accept them being submitted.

Have just realized that going for your uk visa appointment on a day you’re v hormonal is a terrible idea. I should’ve waited until till early next week. But they make you feel SO stressed that you just want it done.
