Agreed. Everything short of zero emissions globally is insufficient. US has a net zero 2050 target and BIL/IRA put us on good trajectory but need more action to get zero aligned trajectory. It’s great but insufficient because everything is. It is not by any description disastrous.

Absolutely phenomenal what is happening in the battery sector. The learning rate solar was incredible, but this is something else all together. The price for battery cells in China has dropped 51% to $53 per kwh. The average global price of these batteries last year was $95/kWh.

A good listen & a solid episode. I've heard enough car brained crap from "avid cyclist" to know that the damage caused by Forester's ideas. Vehicular cycling should be seen as a necessary adaptation to a murderous transportation system, not as a prescription for how the world should be.

Reminds me of when I got pulled over while biking into work I didn’t stop at a stop sign because a car was riding right behind me (I made a quick right turn into a protected lane). The car was a police officer “enforcing bike safety”
