Lots of handwringing and anxiety and frustration, and that's understandable. But after everything I've seen this week--not to mention everything before this week--I'm quite confident that if we put in the work that we did in 2020, we're gonna be just fine. I believe in us.

We almost missed our connection last night die to a series of delays. There were 18 passengers from our incoming flight on that connection and we are convinced that the “minor maintenance issue” the pilot reported in the cockpit was intended to let people and baggage get there.

Mask requirements are being reinstated. Long COVID studies and hearings are being arranged. Messages about clean air are being disseminated. All of this is a result of amazing grassroots advocates, who have persistently pushed governments to do better for years. Advocacy works!
