Met a guy a the track who owns an enclosed car hauler and a GT350R track car, but doesn't own a truck. He just rents a F-250 from Enterprise. That guy had it figured out.

I can totally see trading that for a BEV in a few years, getting a 220V charger at home, but we're not there yet. I'm glad other people are though.

I'm ready for a BEV, but the infrastructure is not. For *me* that is. I tow and haul a lot, so I drive a truck. Thought about a Lightning, but with the lower range towing, plus charge station access it's not a sure thing. Try getting to the charging spaces with a 20ft trailer.

Because wife's commute is <20 miles, so our Escape can get her to work and back with a little juice to spare. Aside form saving $, only has to go to gas station every couple months. But we still have gas for longer trips or emergencies (aging parents, power outages)

We're on our 2nd PHEV (spouse's commuter car) and I can't imagine going back to all gas, or to BEV at this point.
