I got yelled at for asking someone to add alt text (the alt text would have included a mute word and I care about being able to curate my skyline) so now I'm just unfollowing everyone who doesn't alt text because fuck it, if they cared they'd just fucking switch it to required.

Brutal. *Hug* My own known bout, I got at a Labor Day wedding despite it being outside. So did the bride, the groom, the bride's mom, and many others. Might have gotten a round beforehand. Hard to tell. I have a preschooler so I spend three months sick at a time in fall.

Chances are pretty good! The Asian Civilizations Museum in Singapore has a shipwreck of mass-produced pottery from ~830CE (salvaged 1998) on display and it is AMAZING. They salvaged ~50k bowls that had been tightly packed in jars for shipping with straw (see pic!) and they looked brand new.
