Sad to see that Bill Cobbs passed away. He must've been in a billion different movies, so I cannot explain why one of the first projects I always think of is this one-season TV show he did back in 2000 called The Others. Will miss seeing him on the screen.

Oh my god, this is fucking huge. It was huge when we developed a daily PrEP pill that could prevent you from catching HIV; this is a successful phase III trial of a PrEP shot that will only need to be given *twice a year*. Still needs a confirmatory Phase III, but holy fuck.

So sad to hear about Donald Sutherland. I have watched and loved his performance in so many SF classics (Invasion of the Body Snatchers), silly nostalgia favorites (Outbreak, Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and plenty of other films (Pride & Prejudice, The Hunger Games, etc). RIP. 🖤

If you end up checking it out, I hope you enjoy it! I have slightly mixed feelings on the end, but the show is honestly one of my favorite kdramas—great cast, great chemistry, awesome OST, and all the meatiest, most interesting roles go to women, which is, you know. Not entirely common in TV.
