Things nobody warns you about progressive lenses: 1) Heights become scary. Downward angles are blurry! 2) Photography is tough. You're looking up at distant things but your phone screen is up-close.

Oh yes! I know of a patient who had an perinatal stroke, lost almost the entire left side of his brain... totally normal & functional, nobody even knew until his junior high gym teacher noticed he threw really badly with his right hand.

There are no such thing as "left brain people" and "right brain people." Different functions are lateralized to the left or right brain, but they don't all move as a package. If they did, everyone good at language would also be good at math.

My cats do not like water ON but they line up at the shower door in the morning so I will run some onto the wall for them to lick up. Top hilarity though was the day one hopped into a bathtub (usually a fine big box-like play space) before checking whether it was empty...
