To be clear, voting IS rigged, but not the way folks usually mean it. It’s not that your vote doesn’t count, it’s that they’ll fight tooth and nail to prevent you from voting at all. And that should tell you everything you need to know about how much value it truly has.

Unfortunately, to allow that would open the future opportunity for all federal funding to be tied to *insert any Project 2025 objective here*. There’s a reason federal funding is divided up into buckets - to prevent all-or-nothing abuses. Otherwise, I agree something needs to be done.

We agree there's a problem, but we clearly have different ideas about how to solve it. This is an institutionalized issue, and the institution is to blame, but since you don't know how to fix that, you take your frustration out on individuals. Let me know how successful that is in enacting change.
