You don't have to be a member of the bar to be a federal judge. You don't even need a law degree. But, to be on the majority of this Court, you have to be a member of the Federalist Society, which is notably anti-Federalist and pro-monarchist, an odd combination.

The article says a lot of it has to do with price sensitivity of consumers – people shopping for deals instead of buying things b/c they are in the store for prescriptions. Also insurance companies negotiating lower reimbursement rates for meds. And, no more covid test sales. Seriously.

He's almost like the Mitt Romney of Israel, except he's got a spine. He came out against Netanyahu's plan to consolidate power by weakening the judiciary too. It's amazing that everyone lets Bibi continue in power. The war is an excuse to put himself above the law.

I think Acuña already had his surgery, so... maybe you? Can't speak for ACL surgery, but meniscus surgery is pretty easy to recover. Full tear lateral, partial medial. I was back on the field after 8 weeks. Faster than Trout. Then I sprained my MCL, but it regenerates, so I know wear a hinged brace.

I’m sure it could have been a differential diagnosis tool: if the commercial line “minute rice cooks in 5 minutes” made you crazy bc of the internal contradiction, you may be on the spectrum. But in the early 80s it just meant you were an angry kid.

Around 20 years ago my very passive, friendly beagle was attacked by a dog twice his size that was on leash, but the owner couldn't control the dog and dropped the leash upon him bolting. Went right for my dog's neck. I kicked it in the ribs so hard it actually went up in the air. It then retreated.

Not for nothing, but when you're traveling from mid-February at least through the end of September and maybe the end of October, it's nice to have a home base at least 90 of those days (even if it's not your actual home). Taking some of those away makes the grind even worse.
