In case anyone needs to hear this (because I did), yes, the world is burning. You are not Betraying The Cause by finding solace in stupid tv shows or video games or anything else that means nothing but makes you happy. If it gets you through and keeps you on your feet, there's the value, right there

Here’s some teaser art for the Aching God Kickstarter (www.kickstarter.com/projects/mik...); a detail of @andrew_maleski_’s brilliant portrait of a certain long-reigning monarch that has me positively giddy…

Lukasz loves UF & protags w/ a faulty moral compass. If you’re like him, then @charlessoule.bsky.social’s “Curse Words” is the comic book series for you. This delightfully irreverent series pulses w/ magic, mayhem, a hefty dose of dark humor, and it’s every bit as chaotic & entertaining as it sounds

I'm pleased to announce that I have a short story included in Amazing Stories: Best of 2023, edited by Lloyd Penney. The, ahem, stellar lineup includes the likes of Paul Saka, Heather N. Santo, Adrian Tchaikovsky, and Norman Spinrad, among others.

Starting a new serial over on my lil' Patreon, a Harmony Black novella that answers the question, "Whatever happened to Site Burgundy, anyway?" First three chapters are up today and free for everyone, member or not.

Black Sheep by @rachelharrison.bsky.social is a quirky, darkly funny, and occasionally spooky read. It’s perfect for fans of horror with a side of humor and a dash of family drama. If you’re one of them, prepare for a bumpy, twist-filled ride that will keep you entertained from start to finish.

"THE SERPENT & THE WINGS OF NIGHT was a strange, frustrating book for me. It had such potential and there were a couple of things I loved about it, but other than the beginning and ending, I found it uninteresting."

Evocation by S. T. Gibson is not a fantasy book for people who are here for magic first; it's for people looking for a relationship drama.

No one disputes the industry is in a major slowdown. It’s a terrible time, and many of us are hurting

But this article’s claim that it was caused by the 2023 strikes is bullshit

The slowdown & strikes were caused by the same thing: bad business decisions at the top🧵 www.latimes.com/entertainmen...

Final (hopefully) update on the Jack Ryan saga -- the correct ebook is up on Amazon and again available for purchase. If you got the Tom Clancy version, you can redownload for the real thing. Same for other retailers, either now or relatively soon.
