Our local pizza place handles their own delivery with a simple e-commerce website and employing their own drivers. Cheaper, plus I know the drivers get their tips, and I can’t get them fired by giving them a 4/5 on a review. I don’t order from anyplace else.

I mean that we don't especially love 5e, and some of us would like to take advantage of the improvements Pathfinder made in their second edition, but I don't know if any of us are going to spend the money on it nor on D&D's revision. We all have the 5e core books and lots of Paizo's PF1 books.

I have started to miss Pathfinder. We jumped ship to 5e because it was dead simple and we were looking to start doing stories with less crunch, but now 5e is starting to feel too constrained. Not sure if the group is ready to buy all new books (neither new D&D or PF2).

One of the reasons TA work is sometimes (AND OFTEN NOT) repetitive lower-skilled tasks is bc these are training tasks for early career scholars. If we automate them and eliminate the positions associated with them, we are explicitly gutting the future of these fields.
