I already invite people on X to join us here weekly. But thanks to this analysis, I've decided to re-create my "scientists who do climate" list here this summer, and manually invite each of the 3,000 members on X to join us.
If you're still on X, pls consider inviting your followers to join us too!

Ok...I know we have MMP but this is how David Seymour wins Epsom. He asks Epsom voters to give him their candidate vote and party vote National. I suggest this only for seats at risk of going to National/Act/NZ First. Rally behind 1 person who isn't on the right

Dearest NZ Labour.
Please for the love of queer Winnie the Pooh do not take a centrist line.
You lost the last election because your centrist bullshit broke your MPs.
There were own goals, but effectively you lost the public’s trust.
Fight for workers and start drafting an omnibus repeal bill!

Wow I just spent ten minutes on Twitter and even people who weren't right-wingers before 2024 are spouting off right-wing nonsense now. What a thoroughly grim and depressing place. And Facebook is like wandering through a condemned mall. This place feels like the last good dive bar around (for now)

I'm increasingly pissed off at the govt blaming KiwiRail engineers for not keeping clearly past it infrastructure functional way past it's Use By date, when you can guarantee they've been begging for help for decades.

Tbh I'd be amazed if this govt reinstates the original IRex contract because that would require them to follow through with the future-proofing work on the terminals too, and the last thing this govt does is long-term publicly-funded public infrastructure investment.

The ending is actually really great for Bella. There is definitely a lot of gross medical stuff. Also I hadn't heard about the sex. Pro tip: Look out for the goat at the end🤣.
For reference: I hated La La Land
