Huh. Sculptor Sergio Furnari made a mobile statue of the ironworkers from the 1932 “Lunch Atop a Skyscraper” photo, and apparently it travels and there are licensed copies! It’s very cool. And one got stolen.

Since everyone is yelling about politics, here’s a timeline cleanse photo I took several years ago while walking in downtown Nashville. I looked in the window of a building under construction and saw these statues just sitting there. I often wonder where they ended up.

WTF. The electric company in Texas doesn't have a map of outages so people have been using the Whataburger App to figure out who lost power. This is like when Homer was using the Krusty Burger map when they got lost at sea.

What this article leaves out is that if you hand your unlocked phone to a police officer, they can legally search it. Unless companies develop a method that allows you to show officers insurance cards and driver license without unlocking the rest of your phone, don't.

Just found out about a massive data leak at Twitter/X. I don't use it anymore but I keep my account alive so no one else can claim my username. I just changed my password and suggest others do too. Also use 2FA whenever you can.

Oh and this Loveless neon sign photo was displayed in The Frist Museum for a while as part of a community photo project using disposable cameras. I spend thousands on camera equipment only to have the one “museum quality” photo taken with a $5 camera 😜
