No, it's an upgrade in that every buyer inherently bought knowing the motors wouldn't work, so Tesla is being nice & upgrading early buyers to motors that sometimes work. Just another perk for being an early adopter 👍

That's probably the point in Ken Burns Civil War series that annoys me most: When Lincoln is assassinated, it's framed as Booth failing in his goal because the news/people across the spectrum decrying the action as terrible. But Booth succeeded - Johnson & pals effectively gave away the gains

Reading the book currently, & it's definitely worth the read. You quickly realize how the series writers did a great job taking a large cast of characters & quickly showed their personalities enough so they were all memorable, & they didn't blend together. Not an easy thing to do

Also the RW groups have indicated they'd sue to keep the new person off the ballots - & I fully believe they would - & they almost assuredly will find a sympathetic judge somewhere. Even if they don't, it'd end up in front of the Supreme Court & I absolutely don't like those chances

Also, there's a process in place for the situation wherein he's President & he ends up being unable to fulfill the full term - it's called Harris - ie another Democrat - replaces him as President. So...who cares? You're electing the *party*, not just the singular individual.

One thing I was always surprised about BW is that he never did a random drop book of new C&H material With his primary complaints being the grind + newspapers structural limits, really thought a 60 or 80 pg book every 5 years or so would've been entirely feasible 🤷‍♂️

I think the key rub here is that, by not defining 'official act', the court is leaving each instance to bubble up to them for review/guidance. Meaning, very good chance every instance Biden would do would not be official, but every instance Trump would do would be official Corrupt system complete
