Interested in all sorts.
As a foreigner looking in I’m dumbfounded that the Dems have over the past year slow walked into this catastrophe for them and the rest of the world. They need a centreist handsome white 50 yr old Senator/Governor, pronto, otherwise USA becomes a fascist state & the whole world is in trouble.

This might be a good idea. The new constituency gets an MP with experience - the MP gets out of their comfort zone, needs to work with new people, get a different perspective.

I don’t necessarily disagree but for me one mystery bucket are the lapsed Tory voters who would normally return to the fold… but who are so brassed off they are weighing up whether to stick one to the leadership, versus their fear of the socialists stealing their money.

Let’s boost this again. You will need photo ID to vote in a UK election because the Conservatives have tried to minimise the defeat they robustly deserve. Get it free from the link below.

Now we’re in an election period, OfCom will be taking even an even stricter stance on impartiality. If GB News don’t buck their ideas up OfCom will immediately, and without hesitation, give them SUCH a look.

My grandma used to call certain behaviours “wicked”.
Not a word I tend to use but it’s interesting that her use of it wandered into my brain when I read this.

Bernie Sanders in The Guardian: "Biden is not running against God. He is running against Donald Trump... And, on his worst day, Biden is a thousand times better than Trump".
I just don't get how stupid some people on the left can be if they don't see this.

❤️this:
The foundational concept takes a variegated soc with competing interests & casts it as a unitary people with a collective will & destiny. That encourages denial of complex challenges & generates bad policy. The subsequent failure is then projected as sabotage by a malevolent external oppressor

I can’t get over how the Tories have migrated their pitch, in London of all places, from “we’re sensible & we’ll keep this prosperous economy booming for you comfortably off folks” to “conspiracy central with lots of nods & winks to racism & xenophobia”

A bit concerned about the red car close passing the cyclist too.

Microsoft Word: “Hey, let’s also spontaneously change the font size alignment, and formatting!”
Me: “Hey, I didn’t want all that, change it back!”

… I was living on the island of Borneo though… which probably makes the point! 😃

"Western leaders" needed to be a lot more vocal in their condemnation of Israel's strike on the consulate. It is no good posturing and condemning Iran now when their response is the kind of thing that was wholly predictable. De-escalate, and don't fall into Netanyahu's trap of taking his side

I’ve thought for a while is there a tipping point for Tory voters… if if feels close-ish, many will return to the fold to keep “the socialists who’ll take our money” out… but what if they’ve decided Sunak & co. need a good kicking & then the vote may reflect the polls.
