Feeling somewhat better from yesterday. My feelings are valid, and there are times where I don’t feel good due to occasional depression & past memories Also from being judged for it, even when I talk about it. At times we need those who listen & give validation for our feelings

That sounds like toxic positivity when it comes to people just saying to just keep trucking. And she doesn’t sound like one who tries to look for optimism around her, even during the later parts of her life.

I guess it’s due to different generations or environments. And they fail to acknowledge how things changed over the years. And yeah that mentality; with people being like “we didn’t have this back in the day!” when it likely existed but wasn’t as discussed or was dealt with differently.

I can’t fathom those who are against it, especially since not everyone will be happy. And I’m glad as there is more progress as there should be less stigma on mental health.

Yep, and usually we need others around. As things just don’t go away like that and we want those feelings to be embraced. We won’t be healed immediately and sometimes those things resurface.

Yeah and it doesn’t make it better when it feels like people don’t acknowledge how you feel and try to bury your feelings. When that’s not how it works, as you need to face it and be validated for it.

But yeah I try not to feel guilty about the feelings I have As stuff like that above makes it feels worse sometimes, or just typical stuff like “move on” which I know but not an easy thing when you have those memories pop up. When what you want is the feeling of community

You guys ever recall experiences that shaped who you are and they’ve bogged you down for a long time? I do, and I was dismissed sometimes when opening up, being told it’s the past or “oh it’s just this”. While I know that (everyone’s different too), I just wanted to get comfort

Walking outside to just enjoy the weather and seeing nearby interactions definitely helps me with stress and taking my mind off of things Also reminds me of how nice life can be due to what we have in front of us

And this is the 2014 version! Remaking this Wanted to do it for years but no new Eeveelution debuted so I delayed it & it’s one of my all time favorite drawings Vaporeon and Jolteon in this were almost cut out in the 2014 version, so going to modify them in the upcoming remake

Checking the next remake I’m doing in a month and besides the original in 2014, I found a WIP I forgot about that was done a year prior in 2013; shocking to see my old art style Sketched this 2 weeks ago (won’t be the basis for the upcoming remake as the 2014 original will be)
