Exactly. The majority of those on the right are christian zealots - they want to live in a theocracy. As a result, they try to force their narrow mindedness on the rest of us. For a party that supposedly hates big government, they go out of their way to dictate by their "morals".

That was then. They've now unilaterally changed the laws. The Constitution doesn't have any value any more, as they've ignored what's in it. You can't impeach a president if he/she claims that the "high crimes/misdemeanors" were official acts.

No one's replacing Biden. Not doing any real-time fact checking by the moderators put the burden on Biden. But when the lies are coming out of firehose, it's a little difficult to keep up. For all intents and purposes, they could have replaced Bash and Tapper with a couple of chat bots.

My guess is that most of them do, because they're racists. They don't understand that without undocumented immigrants, at a minimum crops would not be harvested, meat would not be packed, and buildings would not be built. I doubt that those businesses would support deportation.

What's really disturbing about the debate fiasco is there's no way to be confident that Biden has it in him to pull off the near-flawless execution he'll need to win at this point.
