I thank you for posting this because until you did I had not heard about this. I am a non-farmer in an urban area but we, and many folks we know, use Tractor Supply for many items for our animals. My area used to be more rural and so it has many smaller stores which I and others can switch to.

Yep. I regularly bought stuff for my rabbit there. I had to drive 1/2 hour each way to get to the closest one. I know some of the employees there are LGBTQ; my heart breaks for them. How horrible it must feel to work for a company that would rather kowtow to bigots than stand with their employees.

The TSC in my little hometown closed suddenly one day in the 90s. Workers arrived for their morning shifts only to find a note on the front door stating the store closed and everyone was now unemployed. Hard to square the nuclear-level disdain for workers with the brand's patriotic messaging.
