Star Wars bros really bought into the propaganda that the Jedi are the best Force-users in the galaxy, didn't they. Like it never occurred to their colonizer minds that there are other traditions and that those traditions just might know what the fuck they're doing with the Force.

Where is that coming from? It's pretty much a theme in a lot of Star Wars canon that Sith Lords are more powerful fighters than Jedi and only the strongest Jedi can hope to stand up to them.

I ain't seen any of the new Star Wars. But the Jedi were from many cultures and life forms from many different planets. Also, no one bought into anything like that, there were no other force users in the original films.

I think there was a local planetary tradition back in the extended universe that could make force armor and stop lightsabers and shit. I liked the idea that each culture cultivated the force in ways that made sense with them.

Not to start That Argument again but this was what I loved the most about TLJ, not necessarily the execution but the promise of breaking the universe wide open with the force sensitive slave children… The Acolyte finally realizes some of that vision but it would be so inspiring to see it expanded on
