GayBlade (1992) by Ryan Best was an obscure CRPG for the Apple Macintosh, Windows 3.1 PCs, and one of the earliest LGBT-themed games. With a quest to save Empress Nelda, it's billed as a lighthearted "spoof" with unique classes and enemies based on Best's own struggles. (a fabulous thread)

This port is just genius! I love the Amiga version (except the disk swapping 😔) and appreciate the PC version with the amazing midi-OST, but really learned to play and admire the game on the Megadrive.
