A good day, and a reality check: Kansas abortion law rests on a 2019 case, Hodes, in which our state supreme court ruled that the KS constitution includes a right to bodily autonomy. That decision could change—live by common law, die by common law.

I don’t have PTSD, but I know of plenty who do and this time of year is a trial for them. This is a great org and a much better cause than setting off mortars in your neighborhood random hours of the night so toss a few bucks their way.

I think everyone needs to recalibrate their perspective on “authority” bc this is a court that will render the reconstruction amendments meaningless (but keep them around just in case they need them for stuff they want)

The 14th Amendment says if you were involved in an insurrection you can't be president. SCOTUS said they won't allow anyone to enforce that because of reasons they made up. The Constitution doesn't say the president is immune from criminal law. SCOTUS decided he is because of reasons they made up.
