Good news guys, I just consulted a map and realized we can get tons of humanitarian aid to Gaza by truck through Israel. Is there some reason we haven't tried that?
You could even fly some in on all those planes delivering ordnance and arms to Israel already, and then truck it across the border.
Even better, just skip the ordnance and arms, and just ship foods and medical supplies instead.
What if there was a second, non-israel country with a population that massively supports the Palestinian cause that the us also gives a lot of money to that we can send the trucks through? I'm just doing some brainstorming here hmu if you wanna get in on the series a
When our Academic Exchange trip visited Israel in 2019, we were flummoxed by the system they used to truck stuff into Gaza.
Each truck would have to drop off its stuff, it would get inspected, loaded onto another truck, taken to Gaza where it would then be removed from that truck and put on another
Why not just force Israel to ship food and water by putting sanctions on them like we did with Putin? If they don’t comply arm the Palestinians. If that doesn’t work, I don’t know, shock and awe like in Iraq, that worked out spectacularly, right?
Sorry, I'm hearing that making any demands of Israel is "unrealistic" and doing anything other than building a port that will be under fire by bombs we sell would require solving the entire Israel/Palestine conflict. Our hands are tied!
Gosh I think this would have the lowest risk of crushing people alive if done properly and distributed by a third party who aren't simultaneously doing a genocide against those people
I guess he just didn't think of it. "Quietly approving 100+ arm sales to Israel" while "leading efforts to get lifesaving humanitarian aid into Gaza since the beginning of the conflict" can keep one's mind occupied.
I'm also only just now learning trucks can't accidently fall down onto someone's house crushing them and their family. Boy why has nobody thought to use these wonderful machines with the help of our good friends in Israel who totally care about civilian lives?
It's all part of Biden's 11 Dimensional Chess strategy to own Bibi by his own logic. Once Bibi realizes how much he's been owned, he'll turn himself into the Hague and the crisis will be solved forever.
