Nothing is stopping every single Democratic elected official and apparatchik from taking the airwaves every single day to articulately and decisively repeat a set of cogent talking points about Trump (ie 45). Nothing. Dem PACs could be slamming him with ads now. Stop whining and do that.

That’s what my cousin indicated. She was happy w/ Biden, not so much w/ George-lol. But, after thinking about it (but not seeing it) I wonder if the tough questions were to see if he could handle them- no lapses, etc. Damn, he deserves so much more respect than he’s getting.

Some Dems want Biden to drop out because he's old and caught a cold. But Trump staying in the race after he stole (and sold?) national secrets, tried to overthrow the election results, had a mod storm Congress in a coup attempt, and has been convicted of 34 felonies, that's A-OK.

It feels so strange to not read @nytimes.com and @washingtonpost.com AND not tuning into my normal fav @msnbc.bsky.social shows. I CANNOT listen/read all this hysteria after a bad debate & digging for stories about lapses etc. Way to go to discredit a very good man when Trump is a lying criminal.

Biden more than that. He’s a man of integrity who has devoted his life to service to this country. And he’s had substantial accomplishments. So much of this has been coming from the right wing, and unfortunately, the media and Democrats are parroting it. It’s disgusting and disillusioning.

I don’t expect them to either, but I want every Dem senator to hear that I am appalled that some are doing it. I’m really appalled that Moira Healy did it or made some similar comments in news article I saw. I tried to call her today, but her office is closed. I will be calling Monday.

I do, too… on Cape Cod:) I contacted Senators Warren and Markey last week on Friday to tell them that we need to do something about the Supreme Court. We need to expand the Supreme Court. My new round of calls will be making sure that they understand what their role is as surrogates. All of them.

I’ve had it with @cnn.com @cnn-news.bsky.social I rec’d an alert saying that Dr. Gupta feels Pres Biden should go under extensive cognitive review. Full disclosure I didn’t read it, but unless he ALSO calls for Trump to go under the same review with the same doctor Gupta shd answer to Med board

Great input. Today I’ve been calling mostly the damn senators telling them what I think about things especially about the Supreme Court. It’s been cathartic. But I will really unload on Maura’s office. Especially being Massachusetts we’re pretty solid. She shd have his back.

I agree and I keep thinking if the old adage - Republicans fall in line. Democrats fall in love. How feckless we are if we don’t support the man who has had more accomplishments than any Pres in my lifetime. He is a good & decent man w/ an exemplary Cabinet. Stop the hysteria!

I hate to be a downer, but, I just couldn’t embrace July 4th with my normal enthusiasm. On July 2nd SCOTUS told us that we don’t have a democracy, we have a King. I thought the 2000 decision was a massive overreach. This opinion IMO feels sinister.
