This is the fundamental problem we’re facing, with Biden, with Trump, with politics. We spend many hours a day consuming media. But the content of that media is increasingly determined not by WHAT IS TRUE, but by WHAT EARNS AUDIENCE ATTENTION. Factoids are harvested and rebuilt into those stories.

Maddah was the first wolf that I met before I became a volunteer at Wolf Watch UK. She was a hand in at only 3 days old with her brother and she lived until the grand old age of 19 years old. She was so gentle and sweet, such a special old wolf.

It's important to note that this single-post analysis above is entirely consistent with a much more comprehensive analysis by @ketanjoshi.co showing that changes in the X algorithm and moderation policies that began in Oct 2022 have massively favoured trolls and penalized climate scientists.

when we beg people to mask up, we are doing it because we know from experience how much the chronic illness life can suck. we’re not trying to control you. we really just don’t want anyone else to have to suffer needlessly and also, uh. we want to stay alive and not get further disabled ourselves!
