I'm going to record an audio version of this and stand outside Dick Durbin's house blaring it on a boombox until he finally decides to hold a goddamn hearing.
I live in Illinois, have been a lawyer for nearly 50 years, and write Durbin's office daily on this issue. If I could vomit at his feet until he acts, I would do that, too.
If Dems take over the House next year, they should attach conditions to funding SCOTUS till Roberts gets his court in shape, in the same the fed govt withholds funds from corrupt sub contractors. Make Roberts ask for funds every 3-6 months, same way govt budget is held hostage.
