More health insurance drAmA Apparently that increase to deductible and out-of-pocket was real because our plan "renewed" on Dec 1. Which doesn't make any sense because then on Jan 1, the amount paid into each resets to zero, so any bills for December don't help with January.

Getting into yet another fight with my insurance company (and have now roped HR into this shit) because our plan (which is getting cancelled in 2024 because we're switching 🤪) was renewed in December. Bumping my out of pocket limit up by $1200. So I now have medical bills.

I know it's fiction but I'm rewatching Rose Red, which is set in Seattle, and the big spooky haunted mansion with an unknowable amount of rooms has been located right in the middle of Capitol Hill. Think of how many gay bars that thing could hold.
