We now know Donald Trump committed crimes to win his first election.
We know that he committed crimes to try to overturn his second election.
We are five months from the next election. Why would it be any different this time? Except that now, the GOP is his willing accomplice.
I suspect they knew who he was when they nominated him in 2016, so "willing accomplice" has been the Republican tag line for a very long time, imho. The only difference now is the cowards are more emboldened to say it out loud.
They were, knew, and participated last time, he just hadn’t been convicted. Now he (and many of them) have…yet they are still all-in on the guy promising them unlimited power.
Because this time: (a) unlike 2016, those in position to protect the safety of the election value protecting the safety of the election over giving the appearance of giving equal credence to "both sides" [Comey], and (b) unlike 2020, Trump is not POTUS.
Mostly because of you, we're more ready.
The fact that he cheated in 2016 now explains clearly his projection that 2020 was stolen from him. He cheated again but still lost? How could that be when McConnell and the other cheaters still won their seats? Almost funny and very dangerous. Thx for helping stop them, Marc and team
The Dems have been accomplices as well. They have been far too slow in bringing charges against Trump, have allowed insurrectionists in Congress to continue in office, and have made no efforts to expand the SCUS.
