Very apt. Why are genZ people not making art like this? We know they feel it, why can’t they express it in ways that’ll affect others? I blame it on cuts to the arts in schools. All those guys in the 60s had the benefit of robust musical training in school. Now? Not so much.

I'm a brain doc (Consultation-Liaison psych). For *years* Trump's shown uninterrupted, increasingly severe cognitive symptoms: he's incapable of linear thought at baseline. Whatever disrupted Biden's linear thought in the debate is at worst intermittent. Bonus: he's not an overt fascist.

My dad is almost 90. There’s nothing wrong with his cognitive abilities. Sometimes he has trouble with a word or two but he’s not spouting gibberish like Trump. People who panic about Biden are obviously people who’ve spent no time with the elderly. Dementia is different than simple aging.

Carnegie, Frick &others built a luxury lake resort on a hilltop above Johnstown to avoid the pollution in Pittsburgh—that they’d created. In 1889 the dam broke. 2000+ died, some burned alive in a fire of debris at a bridge. Bodies were found months later or never. Homestead: 1892. The rage is real.

The Homestead Strike happened just 3 years after the Johnstown Flood, and it targeted the companies of owners involved in the flood. After the flood, none of the wealthy industrialists were held accountable. The two events may not have been explicitly linked, but people remember injustice.
