Exactly! Propaganda works and that's why authoritarians use it; Putin, 34-felon, Fox news, the Twit.... Education is the only way to recognize/avoid being conned. If emotions (fear, anger, etc) are involved, back up and think!

The most common complaint I hear from people who are still over there is “I don’t get the same kind of -engagement-“ on Bluesky” To which I say…sounds like a skill issue I do better over here than I ever did over there I think a lot of them just don’t want to have to rebuild a following elsewhere

The year-over-year fall in user activity and traffic should really be driving people to other platforms anyway. Twitter’s a cesspool, every day it becomes less usable, the infrastructure holding it up is rotting, and it’s losing its owners money. Get off the Nazi machine.
