It's pretty interesting what the media decides is front page news and what they don't decide is front page news! Trump being a child sex abuser with close connections to Jeffrey Epstein somehow doesn't merit the same coverage as "unnamed Dem insider has concerns about Biden's age"

I remember this. I never forgot. I'm still so angry at the media for just shrugging it off, never drawing any lines between data points, and I've seen them continue to pretend that they're serious news people while they peddle misleading stories and launder outright lies on Rs behalf.

The NYTs has become “Cops,” only for liberal political anxieties. Its audience knows who Trump is, so they can’t drum up any more anxiety about him than already exists. So they lean into worries about the dems ability to prevent Trump’s takeover - paradoxically making it much more likely.

Very Serious People can't resolve the cognitive dissonance involved in the knowledge that Trump was involved with Epstein's pedo ring and so pretend its a conspiracy theory or didn't happen. Trump inexplicably gave the guy who let Epstein skate a cabinet post! All out in the open!

I suggest it is the same reason that Biden will not immediately release the documents related to the New York Epstein case, even though he had unlimited declassification power prior to that gonzo ruling, and it would likely destroy Trump completely. Power protects itself.

It is interesting until we also realize that there are folks in both parties that were tied to Jeffrey Epstein and I'm not sure they want to dredge up that spectre just for the "Trump's an awful person" angle since...that's about as surprising as the "grab them by the pussy" bit.

Apparently the most damning thing was that whistleblowers revealed receipts of Trump's payments to Jeffrey Epstein for shows with prostitutes... and we are all aware of the type of prostitutes Epstein deals with... it's so god damn cursed... corporate media is so corrupt for refusing to cover it.
