Dispite his great success as an actor in Jaws, the Shark moved onto executive producing and script writing, which he felt was his true calling. He is always listed under a pseudonym though. Didn't care for the fame, he was in it only for the craft. R.I.P. legend.

People forget that he does show the shark, it jumps in the boat and it's ridiculous. And this is why we still to this day speak of "jumping the shark"
