Don't tell me you've never just done the whole layout for a single page document right on the only master page. I don't believe you.

Love it. Gorgeous. Ten years ago I wrote and published a RPG about minotaurs and it feels like you feel about them just like I do.

Inscapes is everything I've learned playing immersive journaling games since The Ink That Bleeds, written the same, with excerpts from my actual play as examples.

It's fervent, provocative, practical & metaphysical, and I can't wait for people to see it.

That turns The Great Gatsby into an instructional text. Reading a novel is an act of human connection. The reason to read a novel is to hear what the author thinks about how the world works and what's important in life, and see if and how your own experience agrees.

After a massive public backlash, NYC's libraries are getting their funding back -- and will be open on Sundays again.

Does anybody know about ttrpgs that have to do with pregnancy and/or birth?
I tried a google search and search on itch's physical games and got shockingly few results. Like, practically zero. Can't tell if it's just janky search engines, or truly such an unexplored topic in ttrpgs.

A conversation on our Discord has prompted me to say again: remember, y'all, what really sells books is not the author talking about their work, but *readers* talking about it. Word of mouth drives far more sales than advertising or any other engine. So if you loved a book, tell your friends!

"Kill your darlings" only applies if you're holding onto something that actually hurts your story. But jerks sometimes use "kill your darlings" as a weapon to try to break you. Don't wantonly kill what you love the most about your story. That's why you're writing it. Make it work.

There's a really deep Roblox game about a cone. My son and I watched a youtuber play it together a few years ago and it was pretty riveting.

the erasure of 20+ years of news stories here is yet another sign that future generations will have much richer knowledge of the 1930s than they will the GW Bush and Obama years. The wayback machine is carrying a lot of weight these days. If that goes, adios: variety.com/2024/digital...

Like 80% of the time this is what happens when I'm trying to find a stock photo for a game:
1. I spend a lot of time and don't find something quite right. If I'm lucky I find something I might be able to make usable with a bunch of work in Photoshop.
2. But I...

Did you see the second game with The Sneeze? It's on the back of a tarot card inside.
Temperance is the other death card, the death that isn't death, the move from one vessel to another, reincarnation. And that's what the game is about.

I'm thinking a ton about The Tower lately. We fear it because we identify with the figures being cast under and their world it's destroying in them. But what if our real affinity is with the tower itself, and its frustrations and the better world it wants for itself and for us.
