I've taken the stance that cases are important as they are the language for these political/institutional fights

Periods, Surveillance Capitism, and big tech! New paper from my much smarter coauthors and I. "Privacy policies" are not there to protect the user. They are there for the business. If businesses want to protect their users the only solution is not to play the surveillance capitalism game at all.
