Pink Turns To Blue is a song by Hüsker Dü that was released on their double album Zen Arcade.

It describes a young woman who becomes addicted to drugs, takes an overdose and dies.

The song will never be released as a single, but for me it is still a masterpiece by the band

it continues to amaze me how incredible 1979 was for music releases, even if confine to indie. it must rival 1973 in many ways, if not for the expansive sounds created. and yes, this is a fave (among an incredible list of others).
