LucasArts is known for their in-game references In Zak McKracken while in Mars, the tune you get to hear when playing the music cassette is by "Razor and the Scumettes" Razor is one of the original characters in Maniac Mansion, another fantastic LucasArts game I love

Local Man is great, one of my favorite new comics of the last year. I'm a big fan of Rogue Sun, which is probably my favorite new ongoing super-hero title since Invincible.

WBD's stock price has tanked ~78% since David Zaslav was announced as CEO— $32.68 on 05/19/21 to $7.32, today— to say nothing of the brand loyalty, goodwill, & creative talent he's destroyed. It is amazing & genuinely horrifying that anyone could fail this badly, & remain in a position of authority

Last night I started reading the first Initial D omnibus and that my friends is a very interesting comic. The dialogue between the main characters is great, I honestly don't know if I should place kudos on the translation team or the original story.

I randomly ended up at a doujinshi con in Japan and it was just a hall the size of the SDCC dealers room full of hundreds of card tables with stacks of comics. I could count the number of not-comic things I saw for sale on my hands, everyone was there with the intent to buy or sell comics

Yeah. The best ones are the ones that make the most sense. It's why I like Spider-Boy so much. On the surface it's an odd pairing, but then you remember this was the era of the Spider-Man Clone Saga and suddenly it's perfect.

68. Parasite Eve I've been struggling with this novel for over a month. It purports itself a horror novel, but its mostly a techno-thriller. You will learn more then you ever wanted to about kidney transplants and the mitochondria (the powerhouse of the cell!). The video game took some liberties.

67. The Night Stalker I bought the Kolchak TV boxset in the Kino Lorber sale, only to realize there were two proceeding TV movies. So I'm watching those first. This was a ridiculously solid TV movie. Darren McGavin has immediately got my attention as the character Kolchak.
