If a President is wiling to do that, then the previous ruling is irrelevant anyway. What it does do (dangerous enough!) is to effectively make lawlessness perfectly legal. The President may now as per SCOTUS accept bribes or imprison of opponents, or do anything else under his/her office.

It's cute how they use reversible issues to put the perspective. Now check and balance an execution ā€“ the law is unable to restitute life onto a person. If anything, the best way to force an amendment, thanks to the SCOTUS ruling, to revert it, is to gunpoint the legislators into approving that.
