.which is why the Biden admin has been able to get so much done (e.g., Rescue Plan, Infrastructure Bill, gun safety bill, CHIPS Act, IRA, college debt relief, job growth, lower inflation than other G7s, Ukraine, Israel) on a 4.3T deficit...2/3

Regardless of his capacities, a vote for Biden is also a vote for Harris, Blinken, Yellen, Garland, Buttigieg, and a long list of other extremely well qualified personnel. A vote for Trump will be another revolving door of his ilk (Miller, Bannon, Giuliani, Pillow Guy, etc.)..1/3

einstein sent this to curie in 1911 when she was being harassed by tabloids. it contains everything you’d want in such a letter:
(1) your haters are trash
(2) you’re a baller, a true queen
(3) i have determined the statistical law of motion of the diatomic molecule in planck’s radiation field 🧪⚛️

In the world of science/medical/technical editing, there is the network linked here below. I've done a little freelance work through this, but my experience is very limited with it. I'm sure other similar things exist too. eloquenti.com

The real vacation was not visiting family and friends in Utah for a week. It was coming home to the house as I left it and sleeping off the jetlag until 10 am the following Saturday morning with no plans or major responsibilities for the rest of the day.

Ah, me too! But I switched to biochem out of fear of not being able to make a living doing cool stuff like this. I have some regrets about that, but the fascination never goes away!

Exactly! Even for me as someone who was a postdoc working in a coronavirus lab for 5 yrs before 2020, I only had general knowledge outside my specific focus area. And that was quickly superceded by flood of new studies that I don't have time to keep up with.

Actually reflects really well on the governor that the state or city has info on water fountains organized in a publicly available mapping tool at such a granular level!

When I lived near ASU in Tempe, bikes got stolen all the time. It amazed me how common it was, and what lengths people would go to, to steal even a crappy bike. I heard rumors of stolen bike rings with ties in Mexico. Here's a fascinating story about one of these. www.wired.com/story/silico...

...not really relevant to the overall story, but tithing is usually used for church operations, fast offerings are for helping people directly (and not required for temple status like tithing is); that part they didn't quite get right...
