It's a bit problematic how Biden has (a) narrow, limited power to have his agency draw up a student loan forgiveness process consistent with the statutes passed by Congress; but (b) complete immunity to tell everyone at Dept of Edu, "mark those loans as $0 or I'll put you in a pine box."

I used to really care about the Supreme Court as an institution. Someone gave me SCOTUS water glasses as a wedding present. I'm that girl. I don't respect the court anymore. The conservatives are hacks. Roberts et al. deserve to be mocked, booed, & ostracized for the rest of their miserable lives.

When I was young, 'old' meant 50+ and implied feebleness and decline. For example, Bob Dylan was 47 when he joined the Traveling Wilburys (and was perceived to be a borderline novelty act...which was incorrect). Martin Short is 74. You can crush it at 70 (see, e.g., Mick, Neil Tennant, Scorsese)

there is some gold to be found in the commercials: '10'; a Fantasy Island with special guest Adrienne Barbeau; 'When She Was Bad', a TV movie with Cheryl Ladd and Robert Urich, which sounded saucy but wherein Cheryl Ladd maybe abuses her daughter, played by Nicole Eggert (later of Baywatch)

If there were one piece of advice which I would give to a young person that I think is applicable to every career (and other parts of life) it would be: You have to say what you want, out loud. No one can see inside your head. If you want to do a job or get into an area, you need to say so.
