Yesterday we took toddler bear to the zoo nice & early & encountered the most incredible gorillas. The one dude sat down on mere feet away, folded his arms, glared at us with the most knowledgeable & disapproving look I’ve ever seen. Yeah man, I know. We (humans) are pretty epic fuck ups… 🦍🐻

Stuck on this, so quick story. We have a GP in the family who has literally had ppl come into their clinic for a completely routine visit with a fever & dog bite, & the GP had to decide whether to tell them that they’re shortly gonna die in a horrifying fashion, too bad too late to do anything. 😬😬

A bears grandpa survived 2ish years during WWII stealing potatoes and camping in the mountains. He barely survived. Hated every minute. Never wanted to go back to his home country after immigrating due to the trauma. :/

There's no country on earth with a bigger differential in voting access by race. The most impacted group is Black voters. Etc For Black folk, the US has always been authoritarian by any reasonable definition. Even now, more US folk are mad about me spitting these facts, than the facts themselves.
