I left out the vanilla pod and added the zest and juice of a lemon at the stage where you put the sugar in, but this is a good basic recipe and only takes about 15 minutes actual cooking. Keep bottles in a cool place to stop it going fizzy.

Today I get to make a visit to Camp Glenburn, the summer camp I attended as a kid and is literally 1 of my 2 favourite places ever. It'll be amazing to return, and even if the trip causes a pain flare, I don't even care. This trip means so much to me!

Libraries around here aren't quite so well funded, I think, but a lot of them in my city have a tool library at the very least. 1 has food for hungry people to just take if they need a meal. In recent summers, they give out free passes for provincial parks to anyone with a library card.
