Lived in Korea 08-11 and was frowned upon by the younger generations. Dog farms were right beside train tracks and could see them from the trains. Awful.

My partner went through hell with a death in the family,and all the fallout and chaos that's involved. Do what you need to for your self-care right now. Looking after yourself in bad times ins't a bad thing despite how were trained to feel.
