It just blows my mind when pundits are sitting there like “I don’t get it, the job market is great! It’s a great time to be young!” Okay, maybe compared to 1824, but the vast majority of young people are really struggling, materially and emotionally, right now! Dismissing genocide isn’t helping!

I was one of the lucky ones who got diagnosed as a kid, back when they still used Asperger’s. My mother had never even heard of it. My grandpa, meanwhile, was very socially and emotionally removed, and only talked about like three things ever. But yeah, autism, just a passing fad I’m sure.

Dems are also, IMO, the weaker enemy w/re: who’s easier to organize under and against. Especially because in Blue states, there are people with a tiny bit more freedom and flexibility to do so. So while I do sympathize with folks who say voting Blue is pointless bc things happening now 4/
