Since Greene ad verbatim took over Hungarian propaganda I can confirm she is not chamberlain. If we juxtapose then her argument is the deal has to go through to ensure the treatment of Sudeten Germans from the evils of Czechoslovakia.

Excellent. Underplays his familial privilege, however. I think that is relevant. But my word, the idea that she is even in his galaxy as a public servant is ridiculous.

Agree. Chamberlin was trying to hold off war because he knew that radar was in development. Greene has no such strategic vision.

“Peace in our time” whilst dismissing stalins offer to ally and giving hitler a path to attack east. He isn’t much better, or maybe I just have a different definition of “honorable.”

Chamberlain was frantically trying to rearm Britain for a possible war that the British public didn't want in 1937-38. Nobody was anxious to lose another generation of young men on the continent. I honestly believe he did the best he could playing a bad hand.

Hear, hear, this is brilliant. I have come to respect Mr. Chamberlain, if not always agree. His actions in and around Munich were problematic (the speech about the Czechs was a particular low point), but MTG is walking flatulence compared to him.

Chamberlain was a fucking idiot and part of a system that had been willfully ignoring Stalin's pleas for *three years* to help him do something about Hitler before a Europe-wide war started. Cocksniffing a CIA installed, Nazi-cuddling regime that ethically cleansed 14k Roma and Russians, is it?

This isn’t world war 2. Putin is not Hitler and there were a thousand off-ramps the CIA and MI6 might have taken to avoid this war, not least of which was not running two coups in Kiev in 2004 and 2014. But they’ll have it their way.
