Folks, they want you to feel hopeless. They want it to feel absolutely inevitable that we will lose in order to undermine our will. They’re trying to make us feel like fighting is pointless. Because that’s the only way they can win. When we fight, they lose. Don’t give them what they want. FIGHT!

It isn’t going to matter who the Democrats nominate there is just too much invested in screaming & attacking Democrats regardless of who the candidate is for anything to change. They will do this to Harris, to Buttigieg, to whom we nominate.

Perspective: LBJ withdrew his nom. on March 31st (3+ months ahead of Biden’s potential timetable), following lousy polls & screams from media & pundits, the resulting turmoil, including a contentious convention in CHICAGO, saw VP Humphrey loosing to Nixon.

Wages rose 3.3 percent in 2019, 3.9 over the past year. Job growth slowing slightly. The Fed is supposed to get ahead of the curve. Time to cut interest rates.

To everyone justifiably horrified by NYT's July 4 op-ed "Why I don't vote. And maybe you shouldn't either", a few fun facts! Matthew Walther (the author) DID vote in both 2020 and 2022. Walther’s an extremist Catholic graduate of Hillsdale College Hilsdale’s was one of the factions behind Jan 6.
