Mitch McConnell offers an object lesson for all the Republicans who think they can tame this tiger -- even if you do everything in your power to advance Trump's agenda and sabotage two different impeachment trials that would remove him, the Felon Messiah King will still demand your head.

Could another impeachment even still happen in theory, given that presidents by definition can’t do crimes anymore, and they can’t even be investigated? This opinion just ruled the emoluments clause out of existence, why not checks and balances?

Either the Democrats will run Biden, or he'll say he can't continue the campaign and Democrats will run Harris. Either is newsworthy, but neither is nearly as radical as running a pro-insurrection convicted felon with legal immunity he's eager to use.

STEM will have adjustments too: Biology is now taught by the Religion faculty, Math is now under PoliSci, and Climatology will be taught by the Surinamese Lit Professor, and we’re scheduling all the classes at night at the Ag Experiment Station seven hours away.

Gonna be fun on Jan 21 when everyone with money realizes they are now employees of Donald Trump. Play ball, pay tribute, all your legal woes go away. Or, get Khodorkovskied.

Both ideas exist in my non pundit mind.
Dump Biden for Harris*? Sounds complicated.
Elect Biden, then give Harris the keys later? Hard for different reasons.
But the outcome is President Harris regardless and I don’t care when.
*ditching Harris is suicide IMO.

The landmark reversal nullifies all previously lawful forms of right and makes it very difficult for Americans to make ethical decisions or be generally decent human beings without facing criminal charges.

Hope is attacked because without hope there can be no change. They want you hopeless. They want you despairing. A despairing populace does not stand up. A hopeless populace does not pushback. Let your anger fuel your hope. Rage for a brighter dawn. Don’t cede your joy. Joy is hope. Hope is movement.

I've seen enough -- this is the most radical, dangerous, arrogant, out-of-control Supreme Court in American history, and it needs to be treated as such.

The 14th Amendment says if you were involved in an insurrection you can't be president. SCOTUS said they won't allow anyone to enforce that because of reasons they made up.
The Constitution doesn't say the president is immune from criminal law. SCOTUS decided he is because of reasons they made up.

Folks we all are guilty of armchair QBing campaigns but I think it's pretty uncontroversial to assert that a statement about a SCOTUS ruling that does not talk about either the ruling or SCOTUS is not how to play this.

And pardoning is an unquestionably official act, but this decision says courts cannot inquire about the motivations, so pardoning for corrupt purpose is also immune.
