The other issue is that some parks, malls or areas for people to do stuff isn't all that appealing. I find it hard to imagine a teen enjoying a park designed for 7 and under. Between dead malls, and people unaware of what's happening in town, people will think their town is dull.

My kids are loving my knowledge of the existence of the library so much that they're lending out my library books to other kids like it's illicit schoolyard candy, despite those other kids all having the capacity to... go to the library
